Looks to have been made to work on a certain Bolex tripod. Shown here on a Sachtler Ace but had to turn camera around. Control box can be unscrewed from the bottom base and maybe remounted to another area then would have no problem working on any tripod.
Originally accepts 24V but modified with voltage converter so 11-18 volts will work. Set up is in 4-Pin XLR but can be modified to D-Tap for extra $ 30
